On a busy fruit farm growing strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries we have a variety of jobs over a long season from January until December.
We ensure training before work commences and then support and advice to workers to help them achieve their potential. Many of our workers return for a 2 nd and subsequent years when they will usually receive more intense skills training, skills that will be of value in their future careers. English language tuition is available for those who are interested.
We pay our staff on an hourly basis based on the national minimum wage, with attractive incentive bonus's for exceeding productivity targets.The productivity targets we set are fair & transparent; our best workers can double the national minimum wage. Hours & production work is recorded electronically, wages are paid weekly with each worker receiving a computer print out of their earnings.
To avoid large amounts of cash in circulation we help our staff open Bank accounts & pay wages directly into their accounts.The Banks issue bank cards so that individuals can withdraw cash at their own conveinience.
